Akutsuno Ryosei also known as "Red Rain" is the strongest line of defense of Wano excluding the shoguns.
The right arm of both shogun Hiromasa Yuto and Kozuki Ise, his main role is to quell any kind of revolt, check that activities in the place are proceeding peacefully, and obtain information of any kind to help the shoguns. His natural job is that of a spiritualist, always willing to offer small blessings and ritual dances with a serene smile.
In the battlefield he maintains the same elegance as when he dances for rituals, but if the dead could speak, they would speak of dark and devastating demonic rituals.
Appearance[]
Ryosei is a person who has a well-defined build, toned muscles and smooth skin. Very tall compared to standard measurements, he has characteristic details that stand out at first glance, his purple horns of different lengths. He has particularly bright purple eyes and long white hair with purple hues, usually tied in part and left part loose. A purple pearl earring on his left ear.
He wears a simple white kimono, dark almost black trousers with a band of violet fabric and black sandals. Over the kimono he wears a long black cape on whose shoulders two burning red Oni are depicted. On his back he carries his sword.
On the left chest can be seen part of a tattoo, a flowing dragon all along the left arm.

Personality[]
Ryosei is a person with a richly multifaceted personality based on the situations he finds himself in. In everyday life he reflects the figure of a spiritualist who is well-liked by the people of wano, is always willing to give words of comfort to those in need, performs small rituals there where it may be needed, such as simple rain dances to help agricultural fields located in places that are not exactly rich in water, blessing small talismans with properties of health and good luck and giving them to elders, and purification rituals for those who feel the need to ward off negative energies.
It should never be forgotten, however, that the other side of his goodness is the real role he occupies in Wano, his importance on that island being among the most prominent. An air of power and authority permeates him in controlling situations among the public, a vigilante who knows no compromise, his analytical gaze and absolute perception never to be challenged as for Wano's sake everyone is under observation. This personality of his is shown only when it is needed, for in disguising himself as a quiet, interest-free scrutinizer, Ryosei makes no one realize his true intentions since it is with his mind's eye that he is evaluating everything.
A peculiarity of his way of doing things is to assess people's strength thanks to his highly refined kenbunshoku haki, he can perfectly understand every level of strength, even any traits still dormant in a person and gives a personal star rating. From 1 to 5 is the level he can pronounce, between each star there is a very wide difference, very rare are the cases in which a person is rated as a 5-star by him, on the other hand he rates himself as a mere 6-star without letting it be known that between 5 and 6 actually hides an insurmountable abysmal distance. Out of respect for his superiors but also out of actual superiority, the two shoguns are rated as 7 stars, although the actual difference between them and Ryosei is unknown.
Obviously those traits of his personality are not fixed, as it is right that he presents them in a thousand facets that are more or less similar to each other, it all depends on the situations in which he finds himself. However, a final piece that completes his personality is that in battle, the exact opposite of how he behaves in everyday life. A real demon takes the field, influenced at first by his sword until he has reached the peak of his mental strength, now he can abandon himself to that same power without losing his mind but still proving extremely dangerous for his enemies. This is because thanks to the powers of the Gishi Gishi no Mi, among the many possible rituals there are also the most dangerous, demonic rituals with totally dark and evil effects, it is fortunate that he can control them without problems by being performed by himself but this was only achieved thanks to decades of meditation and strengthening of the spirit, another person in his place would have been devoured from the first contact with the sword, let alone with the fruit's demonic powers. This ability has been seen by very few allies including the two shoguns, rumors say that, using his way of evaluating, there was a single moment where Ryosei could probably be called a 10 star.
Equipped with great strategic and intellectual abilities, he can carry out political tasks in times when the shoguns cannot deal with them, enforcing respect for his figure without giving space to any underestimations towards him.

Tenchi Shōmetsu is a powerful cursed sword, nowadays, a history of spilled blood and stolen lives revolves around it. The reasons for this misfortune are unknown, only a very small number of people know the reality.
A centuries-old sword that has not lost a single bit of its quality, a sign of the immense skill of the master smith who created it. It is said to have been born along with a blessing, that of showing the correct path to follow in the cycle of the six paths. Incessant battles and all the blood collected, however, have shed light on its true intentions, although this ability has never had an official name, ancient manuscripts speak of "Devouring Negative Karma."
Having become an accumulation of evil over the centuries, this cursed sword injects discomfort and fear with every strike on the most resilient enemies; for those less fortunate, it is enough just to feel its nefarious aura. Added to all this is the real source of this sword's strength, its being composed entirely of Eternium, one of the strongest materials in the world that maintains its perfect condition for centuries and cannot be destroyed. In fact, this sword is more than 300 years old and not a single scratch can be found on it.
Finally, this sword ate the Hito Hito no Mi, Model: Ao Andon devil fruit, gaining all its strengths, especially the “Hypnotic Flames of Fear” ability, flames that do not burn but generate an incredible feeling of terror on those struck by them, even sending them into a state of confusion through hallucinations dictated by the hidden fears of every person, no one excluded since fear is a feeling that everyone carries deep inside them.

This fruit gives its user the ability to obtain different effects and blessings depending on the ritual performed. The more knowledge the user has about rituals the better the effects obtained. From simple gestures to complex dances, each ritual carries with it a mythology; to achieve the desired effect the ritual must be completed from beginning to end or nothing will be achieved.
Effects can vary widely, from small singular blessings to area effects if the ritual allows. There are three categories of rituals known at present: rituals for blessings, rituals for effects, and finally Ryosei's secret, demonic rituals.
The better the mastery of the fruit, the less the ritual requirements will be to achieve the same effects.

Kitsunebi-ryu: Shūsoku[]

A technique invented by Ryosei himself, a much better version of Kitsunebi-Ryu which, in maintaining the burning force and the ability to cut flames, eliminates all disturbing elements by converging all the heat inside the blade making it incandescent and lethal. The result is a much more manageable and sharp sword, much faster and sharper slashes and above all the release of enormous pressure with each blow. Ryosei is the only one who knows this technique, born inspired by the skills of the shogun Kozuki Ise.

This style stems from the absolute perception of energy flows developed by Ryosei. Being able to mentally visualize the internal forces within himself and the external forces around him thanks to his finely honed Kenbunshoku Haki, Ryosei through precise, strong and fast movements of both his body and sword, is able to govern their flows. The external ones are represented by the wind, the internal ones by the spirit and the physical, up to the haki.
Being able to steer them, Ryosei can generate large streams of razor-sharp wind, already this would be enough to be able to react in both attack and defense in 360 degrees, but the pinnacle of the technique also sees the use of Busoshoku Haki in its advanced variant of Internal Destruction. The combination of these two masterfully executed flows creates a multitude of slashes that pass through every defense, attacking lethally from within after penetrating like needles.

Ryosei's Oni Mask Fragment
Having the left horn smaller than the right, Ryosei carries a fragment of oni mask with a horn the same size as the longer one. This piece of mask fits perfectly over the small horn and is usually used only when the battle is highly serious. It is also apparently a symbol depicting Ryusei's demonic tendencies.

Busoshoku Haki[]
Born and raised in what can be called the home of haki, Wano, Ryosei brings with him the ability to use Busoshoku to exceptional levels. Awakened at a tender age during the early days when his skills were recognized by the best sword dojos, Ryosei embarked on a long path of hard training to reach the pinnacle of this haki.
Very early on under the influence of the best local swordsmen, Ryosei learned to rule the Busoshoku streams, becoming able to use the emission at a crude level initially and then to master the full art of it, the one named Ryou in Wano.
Over the years Ryosei surpassed many masters in this art until he reached the peak, the skill of internal destruction. Ryosei's finely used Busoshoku Haki penetrates every defense like a needle and then damages with ferocity from within. In addition, thanks to his continuous rituals with fluid movements and the ability to sense the energy flows inside and outside the body, Ryosei can maneuver each drop of haki with extreme precision, thus avoiding its crude use that goes astray as in the case of those who force haki out by creating a cushion. With elegant flow, he can concentrate internal destruction so as to achieve maximum results with minimum effort.
Kenbunshoku Haki[]
The haki at which Ryosei excels the most. Awakened as early as the tender age of 8 in a very basic form through daily meditation at a hidden temple in a Wano forest.
Perception of his surroundings by getting in tune with nature itself to the point of being able to see its precise shape without the need to look, feel the presences moving within it and notice their movements even at great distances. These are only the first effects achieved in the early years of meditation and development of this haki. Nowadays Ryosei can impeccably sense the presences of anyone at an incredible distance, with accuracy he can distinguish each and every presence, their number and their movements as if he's a human radar.
His mastery does not stop there, Ryosei can sense an individual's true inner strength and vibrations, in doing so he can discern all of an individual's true emotions even if that individual tries to hide them, this ability comes in especially handy for figuring out whether or not a person is lying during an argument. Finally always with this skill Ryosei can figure out a person's level of strength, usually dividing into categories ranging from one star for the weakest to five stars for the strongest.
His mastery of this haki does not end there, however; he has reached the pinnacle of perception by being able to see a few seconds into the future. An incredible ability that allows him to intervene early to prevent evil actions from starting at any moment, whether among ordinary people or in the midst of a battle this ability makes all the difference and demonstrates the sublime strength of its user.
