I would like to apply for the position of Vice Admiral for my Character Zhuque Ehuang.
About Ehuang:
Zhuque Ehuang is the eldest daughter of the Zhuque family, one of the Si Xing (four noble families of Kano Country). Joining the World Government at the age of twenty five in the year 1607 she was stationed within the West Blue at first, slowly but surely moving up the ranks over the years and in turn being relocated first to Paradise and then later on into the New World.
In 1618 she fought alongside both her home nation of Kano as well as the World Government against the Yonko alliance during the War of Empires. Despite seeing her countrymen suffer heavy losses as well as losing her own husband in the war she remained at the frontlines while Kano Country was forced to retreat back into the waters of the West Blue after the loss of the Seiryu.
Ehuang's Power:
Zhuque Ehuang is a strong and powerful woman. Unlike the nobles of most kingdoms those within the noble families of Kano are not granted a life of luxury based solely upon their birth. It is something that must be earned, the children of the noble families all being expected to excel in some craft or another. This can take the form or science, arts, music, so on. Ehuang chose to join Kano's Navy and go into Military service as a Combat Doctor. It was during her time in Kano's Navy that she would learn the art of Qigong.
Qigong is a form of traditional medicine used in Kano, typically through the use of accupuncture a doctor utilizing Qigong is able to puncture pressure points throughout the body to create effects similar in nature to that of Seimei Kikan but within another person. It is a popular form of medicine in Kano.
However, medicine is not its only use, the monks soldiers of Kano having taken the medical art and transformed it to one that can be used in Combat. By combining the art of Qigong with that of Hasshoken, combatants no longer need the use of needles or other sharp objects to pierce into the body to open and close off the flow of vital energy through the body. Rather through using a method Kano navy soldiers have come to call "Pin-Point Hasshoken" users, through percise strikes, are able to use the vibrational force of Hasshoken focused on the tips of their fingers to strike these vital pressure points through the skin,
By doing this they are able to cause negative internal effects within the human body ranging from limb or even total body paralysis to stopping the function of vital organs, to even silly things such as forcing the targets hair to start growing uncontrollably.
Ehuang is a master of this martial art, using it for both positive and negative effects, even having learned to use it on herself to reactivate stem cells for passive healing or breaking the limits the brain puts on what her muscles are capable of to increase her strength and speed well beyong human levels.
When unable to get in close to her targets for one reason or another she is capable of using the quills of her zoan's feathers as projectiles, stabbing into the same pressure points she would have needed to strike at physically in an up close battle.
Tori Tori no Mi, Model: Suzaku
Ehuang posseses the Tori Tori no Mi, Model: Suzaku, a mythical Zoan-type Devil fruit that allows her to transform into a full or hybrid version of the Vermilion Bird of Chinese legend, one of the four aspacious beasts of Kano the Suzaku is one of the sacred treasures of Kano entrusted to the Zhuque family and in turn granted to Ehuang as its user and keeper.
As a Zoan all of her physical abilities are heightened beyond her own natural strength, speed, and durability. By transforming into the Suzaku Ehuang becomes a massive bird measuring in at about the size of your average commercial passenger plane. In this form thanks to her large, powerful wings she is capable of speedy, well controlled flight, able to flap her wings hard enough to create strong gusts of wing and mini tornados capable of sucking in debris and opponents alike.
A long, sharp beak allows her to pierce through durable objects like concrete and steel with little effort, breaking down barriers to attack fleeing and hiding opponents who try to use such objects as cover.
Strong, black talons on her feet allow her to pick up objects mid flight, allowing her to throw objects at enemies or to provide cover for fellow marines. With a grip strength strong enough that she can hold onto the sides of buildings and hang upside down if the need arises.
The most powerful aspect of a mythical zoan of course comes from the mythical ability every mythical zoan is granted. The Tori Tori no Mi, Model: Suzaku's mythical ability is that of Burning Ash, a mythical ability that allows the Suzaku to create and expel burning hot ashes from any point of its body. In Kano's history this ability has been used to rain burning ashes down upon invading ships, setting them ablaze long before they reach Kano's shores. Ehuang uses this ability both in her base form and Suzaku form, using it in base to burn and blind opponents, opening up attack opportunities with her Qigong.
While in her transformed state the burning hot ashes cling to the feathers of the Suzaku giving it the appearance that it is set ablaze. In this form she is capable of becoming an aerial bomber, sprinkling the battlefiled with hot burning ash or attacking single targets by dropping large spheres of hot ash that explode out upon hitting the target or ground scatttering those burning ashes everywhere, lighting objects and opponents on fire.
Haki:
Ehuang is proficient in the use of the base forms of Busoshoku Haki and Kenbunshoku Haki. Having faced many battles during the war and her time as a marine. However, it should be noted that between the two her speciality is that of Kenbunshoku haki as she is fully capable of remaining calm and focused in the heat of battle, needing to in order to use her Qigong effectively given its requirment for pin-point accuracy. Ehuang uses the intention sensing abilities of Kenbunshoku haki to predict the movements of her opponents, setting up opportunities for her to get in quick and decisive strikes with ther qigong.
Ehuang's Goals:
Ehuang joined the marines with the goal of one day reaching the rank of admiral for the purpose of furthering Kano's standing within the World Government. Bringing Honor to her family and her people by doing so.
Though, after the death of her husband during the War of Empires, Ehuang, who had previously seen the capture and execution of pirates as a means to an end in reaching her own goals has now began to grow a hatred in her heart for them, now taking a degree of pleasure in the subjugation of those who have taken so much from her and from Kano.
